GoldenShark hand dredges – Sizes and applications
Our hand dredges come in three lengths: 50, 75, and 100 cm (each with a 50 mm diameter). All models are valve-free and allow you to discharge material directly onto a sluice box, into a pan, or a bucket. They’re ideal for bedrock, tight crevices, and underwater recovery.
Durable, lightweight, and practical
GoldenShark dredges feature a durable handle and a high-quality silicone piston that won’t dry out. The design is shock-resistant above 0°C and built for outdoor use in all conditions. Each kit includes the pump, two spacer rings, and a 50/32 mm reducer (for 50 and 75 cm models).
Accessories and spare parts for full customization
- 50/30 mm reducer – for narrow spots. Available with a dual-action valve that holds material inside the tube until released.
- Adjustable silicone piston – modern alternative to leather. Easy to fine-tune with a screw – no disassembly needed.
- Hand pump plug – compatible with all GoldenShark dredge models.
How does a GoldenShark hand dredge work?
The simple design lets you vacuum material from crevices, gravel beds, or submerged cracks. You can suction gold-bearing material from up to several decimeters deep and deposit it straight onto your gold pan or sluice. It’s a must-have tool for effective field recovery.
